The Monaco Yacht Show is the largest European yacht show in the calendar, and this year represented over €3 billion worth of value in superyachts. SWM Yachts caught up with our colleagues across the industry and viewed the latest yachts for sale and charter.
The largest yacht on display and the largest ever to appear at the show was the impressive 115m (377ft) Lürssen built Ahpo, which is available for charter for both the Caribbean and the Mediterranean for €2,500,000. The yacht features a unique exterior and interior design courtesy of Nuvolari Lenard, and can accommodate up to 16 guests. She features everything from a spa, beach club and helipad as well as a wealth of world class watertoys.
The team also visited the incredible new Project X by Golden Yachts. This 88m (288.6ft) yacht features a waterfall and large pool on its aft deck, as well as innovative large windows that allow natural light to fill her voluminous interior, including her amazing triple-deck atrium. Wellness facilities, a gym, four tenders and a touch-and-go helipad are just some of the features available aboard. Project X is available for charter for €1,100,000 per week as well as being available for sale with an asking price of €160,000,000.
Among other new charter yachts on display was the 85m (278.8ft) explorer yacht Victorious built by AkYacht in Turkey. This expedition yacht has a remarkable 10,200 nautical mile range, allowing her charter guests to go truly anywhere. Her remarkable interior includes an observation lounge, a formal dining room and a massage parlour among many other amenities. She is available for charter for €800,000 per week as well as being available for sale with an asking price of €110,000,000.
SWM Yachts also got a chance to re-visit three of our favourite large charter yachts, Tranquility, Phoenix 2 and Soaring.
The Oceanco built Tranquility is 91.5m (300.1ft) long and PYC certified, allowing up to 22 guests within her 11 cabins. A true ocean-going explorer, she is available to charter year-round for €1,100,000 and has been newly listed for sale for €149,900,000. She is sailing to the Middle East this winter, and still has availability for both the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Phoenix 2 is a well-respected charter yacht also recently listed for sale. The magnificent yacht features a distinctive phoenix figurehead at her bow, as well as an iconic circular staircase linking her decks aft. The 90m (295.4ft) Lürssen is available for charter for €1,000,000 per week and has an asking price of €129,000,000.
Soaring has been purposefully designed to look both stylish and distinctive from other yachts as requested by her owner to Abeking & Rasmussen, who are responsible for building this 68.2m (223.9ft) superyacht with styling by Focus Yacht Design. She features a spa, library and gym amongst other excellent amenities and charters from €700,000 per week for 12 guests. Soaring is also newly listed for sale for an asking price of €98,000,000.
Among our other highlights included Heesen’s incredible new build Lusine. The beautiful 60.6m (200ft) superyacht is newly delivered this year and has been listed for sale with an asking of $82,000,000 (€83,067,500). This is a remarkable chance for any owner to get their hands on a newly built superyacht.
These are just some of the highlights of the team. For further information or brochures for the above yachts please contact the team at info@swmyachts.com. For any information on any other yachts either motor or sail at the show from 20m and above get in touch with us today.
